The Help-net Fund received two Suzuki Altos vehicles that they handed over to celebrities from 7de Laan. The 7de Laan actors are Jacques Blignaut, known as Vince, and Angelique Gerber, known as Clara. The handover ceremony took place at Kolonnade centre in Montana on Saturday. One of the Help-Net Fund’s main sponsors, Suzuki Montana, sponsored the cars.
Ms Jolanda Jacobs, speaking on behalf of the Help-Net Fund, says the celebrities have agreed to in return spend time each month on promoting the Help-Net Fund’s cause by being present at their functions.
We are planning to have scouting sessions for our beauty pageant’s different categories including The Miss Help-Net Teen, Tween, Little Girls and baby competitions in carious shopping centres across Pretoria during the course of the year. Various celebrities will also be attending these events and be available for autographs and photos,” says Jacobs.
The Help-Net-Fund is a non-profit organisation that focuses on the care and rehabilitation of abused, neglected and abandoned children in our communities.
